Inspiration

As a manager, or owner, or director of your business you have many responsibilities. A key point amongst those responsibilities, is leadership. You need to provide inspiration but where do you turn for inspiration. We will provide you with something thought-provoking every day.

If you need some inspiration we recommend you look at these brief video clips. http://www.simpletruths.com/movies.asp We came across this site when looking for uplifting material and now often use their books as gifts. A personal favourite is The Dash. I used the poem that is the centrepiece, as a eulogy at a beloved uncle’s funeral.
Humour

Humour is important as well. We all spend too much time working, not to enjoy ourselves, therefore we are going to make you smile each day. How much effort do you put into making each day enjoyable for your team?

Tip

Doing the job is important. Thinking about it is essential. Make time for reflection and planning. As the leader of the business if I can encourage a small change every week my business will be very different in 12 months’ time.
